Mesabi Trail
The Mesabi Trail passes through the City of Keewatin and is used by hikers, bikers, joggers, as well as inline skaters. This 115 mile trail links Grand Rapids to Biwabik.
When completed, the Mesabi Trail will go as far as Ely, linking 28 communities across the Iron Range. It will be one of the longest paved trails in the U.S. at 132 miles long.
Wheel passes are required for users 18 years old and older on wheels. Passes may be purchased online, at trail vendors or entry point self-pay boxes.
